Abstract: Decision-making in real life problem, including performance measurement methodologies, usually involves large amount of uncertainty. In this paper, a formulation of performance measurement has been proposed using fuzzy input-oriented DEA-based Malmquist productivity index. The proposed procedure has been applied in measuring the productivity of a real case of Iranian police traffic centres. As the inputs and outputs of the case are assumed to be mixed with a considerable amount of uncertainty, linguistic terms parameterised by fuzzy sets have been supplied to represent the vagueness. The proposed methodology is straightforward and results are promising.
