Abstract: The transformation of the results of scientific research into processes and/or products requires a regime of collaboration and cooperation between the scientific and technological providers and the industrial users, based on their respective needs. This paper examines the role and activities of national and regional agencies involved in technology transfer in several European countries: Italy, France, Germany, Britain, Denmark and Holland.
