Abstract: Technology has transformed every industry in the world and the tourism and hospitality industry is no exception. The advent of information technology has transformed the hospitality industry in numerous ways, but now the advent of the technological amenities has taken this transformation to a whole new level. The provisioning of technological amenities such as keyless entry, electronic lockers, smart rooms, smart mirrors, etc. by the hotels is creating a new form of satisfaction for the tech-savvy generation of travellers. The adoption of these technological amenities can upgrade the hotel industry and increase customer satisfaction. Himachal Pradesh being one of the most important tourist destinations in India attracts millions of guests to its hotel industry and thus there is a need to identify the State Tourism's adoption of these technological amenities. The research has found that the technological amenity adoption at the hotels of Himachal Pradesh is in its cradle at the moment. Out of the 100 hotels visited only 8.04% of the hotels are providing one or more types of such amenities and thus the tourism industry of the state requires considering better adoption for enhanced guest satisfaction.
