International Journal of Computational Systems Engineering
ISPR 2020: Special Issue on: "Recent Advances in Intelligent Systems and Pattern Recognition"
Guest Editors:
Dr. Akram Bennour, Larbi Tebessi University, Algeria
Dr. Abbas Cheddad, Blekinge Institute of Technology, Sweden
Dr. Yousri Kessentini, Digital Research Centre of Sfax, Tunisia
This Special Issue aims to provide an opportunity for researchers, professionals and academics in the field of intelligent systems and pattern recognition to share the recent advancements, latest solutions, scientific results and methods in solving intriguing problems in these areas.
It is initially based on the extended version of the best papers of the international conference on Intelligent Systems and Pattern recognition “ISPR’2020”, being held at hammamet, Tunisia, on 25-27 March 2020.
The extended versions of the papers must fulfill a number of requirements:
- The title of the extended version ( EV) should be different from that of the conference paper (CP);
- (CP) should be included in the References of (EV);
- the main differences between (EV) and (CP) should be clearly sketched when it is pointed out that (AV) is an extended version of (CP) presumably this will happen in the Introduction of (EV);
- (EV) should include at least 30% technical contribution new with respect to that in (CP);
- parts that are common to (EV) and (CP) should not be verbatim the same to avoid copyright infringement;
Suitable topics include, but are not limited, to the following:
- Natural language processing
- Knowledge representation and reasoning
- Constraint processing and heuristic search
- Intelligent interfaces
- Multi-agent Systems
- Machine Learning
- Deep learning
- Data Mining
- Document Analysis
- Handwriting analysis and recognition
- Pattern recognition & applications
- Image, speech, signal and video processing
- Biometrics applications
- Computer vision, Robotics and perception,
- Virtual reality and medical applications
