Abstract: Watermarking is one of the best way to authenticate the ownership or the source of data by embedding copyright information onto the image, audio or video. At the same time to maintain anonymity or source of data from unintended users its need to encrypt before embedding. This paper presents an effective use of encryption algorithm in audio watermarking. The watermark data is initially encrypted with 'A light weight secure image encryption scheme based on chaos and DNA computing'. In the second part, the encrypted data embedded onto an audio using discrete cosine transform (DCT) and discreet wavelet transformation (DWT). The test results are promising and the watermarked audio does not looses its quality.
