Abstract: In the light of the development way of water flooding development in Shengli Oilfield, and the problems of differences of water injection pressure in different reservoirs or different injection wells caused by reservoir physical property itself and late blockage and damage, the hydraulic automatic pressure regulating water injection device between wells is studied. The downhole pressure regulating device is mainly composed of screw motor and screw pump, and also includes the key part of universal coupling. The universal coupling technology is studied in this paper, which solves the problem of the universal joint checking caused by the axial force pointing to the direction of the low pressure, and the selection and checking of the positive bearing of the rotor caused by the centrifugal inertia force of the rotor, the lateral vibration of the rotor, the dynamic load of the tubing and so on. Only the axial and radial support of the force can ensure the normal and efficient operation of the system.
