Abstract: This research utilises interpretive structural modelling (ISM) methodology to model the relationships between eight key drivers of Green supply chain management (GSCM) in Jordanian industrial firms. Data were collected from 30 experts. Structural self-interaction matrix is developed and then adopted to construct the reachability matrices. The results revealed that 'government regulations and legislations' pressure is the motivator driver of 'stakeholder pressure', 'global competition', 'financial factors', and 'awareness level of customers'. In conclusion, pressures from government, customers, and management drive the adoption of GSCM practices in Jordanian industrial firms. Moreover, management commitment is crucial in providing sufficient resources to accomplish successful adoption of GSCM practices. Finally, the ISM model developed in this research shall provide valuable guidance to decision makers in government, as well as management of industrial firms on the key drivers of GSCM that need more attention during planning, implementation and evaluation during the downstream and upstream of product life.
