Abstract: From supporting function to a business enabler, the role of the supply chain (SC) is evolving significantly. Well managed SC brings cost benefits, agility and flexibility to the businesses and provides the competitive advantage and differentiation strategy. Changing trends, roles and business environments also brings the complexity in the way SC is coordinated, controlled and managed.
