Abstract: One of foundations of service science is service-dominant logic (S-DL) which has a premise that service ecosystem is system of the service system and strongly emphasise the role of the institution. An institution in S-DL viewed as a structure to arrange the dynamic network actors which are interrelated with others. The institution is an operant resource to guide the social interaction to enable value co-creation. The study proposes to model the institutional process to facilitate and improve the value co-creation by using agent-based modelling. The question of the study is how to model the institutional process to facilitate and to improve value co-creation. This study also provides the evidence by using a case study of the hijab fashion industry in Indonesia to give more understanding about the application of the institution. The hijab fashion industry is chosen by considering its contribution toward GDP and good projection in the context of business in Indonesia.
