Abstract: The aim of this paper is to analyse the effect of resilience as a factor for effective organisational development. Organisational development is a result of the demands of a changing environment and knowledge caused by changes in the applied social sciences. Rapid changes in the organisational environment has required changes in their processes of interaction in technology, structure and people currently in organisational structures that are more flexible to take risks that provide more responsive than traditional structures are required. The employed method is analytical-descriptive. New individual and organisational skills are required. Resilience contributes to effective organisational development that ensures the survival and generates additional benefits from adverse circumstances.
