Abstract: To study the uncertainty of food cold chain, a new method for optimisation research of food cold chain transport network based on the extenics theory is proposed in this paper. An extension model for contradictions between the total cost and flexibility in food cold chain transportation service network is established, based on which the extension method for resource of the food cold chain transportation service network is analysed under flexibility. Finally, taking a certain cold chain company as an example, the application of it is studied, which provides a new and scientific method for the management of food cold chain transportation service network.
