Abstract: This paper presents an overview of the DynaNet system, a comprehensive computational framework for the generation, design, simulation and evaluation of dynamic wireless networks. The term dynamic is used to encapsulate the characteristic that the network nodes (base stations) can move freely during network operation, enabling point-to-point links between nodes to be formed or broken.

Keywords: node movement; heuristics; wireless networks; mobile networks; network design; modelling; simulation; point-to-point links; dynamic networks; mobile communications; network evaluation.
