Title: A novel method to control patients' vital signals from distance

Abstract: This paper presents a novel system capable of measuring and analysing the signal coming from six different vital signals. The system is based on a portable remote device, monitored via a mobile application running on an android platform, and connected to the patient via its different sensors. The results are displayed on the patient phone and sent remotely to his doctor's phone. The doctor can read any of the vital signs anytime by enabling the sensor connected to the patient. This system can also help the doctor to compare it to previous results, set new medications, update or define a schedule for a visit. Whenever a faulty signal of any of the vital signs is treated, an automatic message is sent to one of the patient relatives and to his doctor for a fast intervention. The tested results showed an almost error free system with an accuracy above 95%.
