Title: Entrepreneurial management, effective governance, and high-performance teams at central research and development laboratories: a multi-case study

Abstract: The purpose of this research was to examine how a corporate entrepreneurship framework can be used to explore perceptions of industry leaders on developing a successful central research and development (R&D) laboratory services. This qualitative, multiple case study was focused on top managers' perceptions of technical and organisational maturity, efficient governance and maintenance of high-performing teams using a corporate entrepreneurship framework in organisations under strategic change. Results suggest that corporate entrepreneurship can act as an indicator for the effective implementation of a change initiative, research and intellectual property environment change, and enable effective governance in the organisational environment.
