Abstract: Water as the most significant element of nature, is the key to understand life development of every living creature. A glance at ancient Greeks and their civilisation would point out the role and use of water back then, so as to take advantage of ancient Greek wisdom in order to use water today with care and most respect to its deposits. The use they had of water, the devices they invented to ease their daily life, or the quotes they used in the flow of speech, signify how important water was for their existence.
