Abstract: Static analysis on tibia is performed for three different postures of humans (standing, staircase ascent and descent) by drawing a free body diagram. A model of the tibia bone is created in CATIA software and is imported to ANSYS. Obtained values during standing and stair ascent and descent are incorporated in finite element analysis. The stress distribution and deformation made in the human bone tibia are observed.
