Abstract: The present study is an attempt to understand the hopes and expectation of the customers of the Odisha Gramin Bank (OGB). The reforms are initiated by the GOI, however to what extent the aspirations of the customers are being taken care is the present issue before them. During the study we tried to include the views of more people and we were able to end up with 281 respondents. We considered 12 hypotheses; however two were rejected by the respondents. The reasons seem to be the more and more nationalised banks' presence in the rural area. We strongly believe that if the intentions are good then the results will be definitely a positive one.
