Abstract: One of the most important issues in the field of strategic management is performance differences. Nowadays, the healthcare industry has also become a more competitive environment via newly liberalised policies. In this context, this paper investigates the relationship of kaizen blitz and sustainable performance in the Malaysian healthcare industry. The three pillars of sustainable performance consist of economic, environmental and social. The database was analysed using structural equation modelling (SEM). According to the findings, this study supports the positive impact of kaizen blitz and sustainable performance in the context of the healthcare industry. Based on the proposed conceptual model and review, research hypotheses were developed. The paper ends with proposed future research work.
