On the other hand e-procurement has an advantage over the traditional method in several aspects, which has resulted in transition from the traditional environment to e-procurement. In this paper, an attempt has been made to evaluate the effectiveness of e-procurement system with a case analysis of Mahanadi Coal Fields, Ltd., where recently e-procurement system has been installed, using fuzzy multi criteria decision making (MCDM) approach.
