Regarding the importance of petrochemical industry in Iran, the current paper studies the feasibility of implementing the e-commerce system in Isfahan's petrochemical unit. The statistical population of the study includes 29 senior managers and experts of the petrochemical industries. In the present research, senior managers and experts' opinions on feasibility have been examined and some feedbacks have resulted in from the opinions. The current research concludes that the organisation under study does not have favourable state either in software or in hardware. Implementation of the e-commerce system in petrochemical industries would reduce the average value of the transaction costs.
