Abstract: Foreign Direct Investment (FDI) in China over the past 25 years has increased faster than in any other economy. The net impact upon the Chinese economy appears to be highly favorable. A major portion of that FDI has been made by overseas Chinese, with assistance from a Mainland Chinese ministry level agency known as the All-China Federation of Returned Overseas Chinese. Despite some problems faced by foreign investors seeking to enter China|s market, experts predict that foreign direct investment will continue expanding at least during the next few years.
