Abstract: This report proposes a new fuel metering technique which adopts wall now compensation based on the model-matching method. It is assumed in the model-matching method that wall flow behaviour can be approximated by a first-order equation with the entering and re-entering rates of fuel as parameters. The technique was found to be effective over the parameter region where compensation is possible. In the parameter region where compensation is not possible, an alternative, |second-best| compensation method is proposed.
