Abstract: Experimental work has been carried out on the stress and vibration response of passenger buses on typical Indian roads. Road undulation measurements have also been reported. The measurements cover roads of three different ride qualities and the response of buses to these road inputs at speeds of 30 km/h, 60 km/h and 72 km/h.
