Abstract: Test procedures for Radiated Emissions and Susceptibility are reviewed. Open air range emissions testing is compared to shielded chamber testing. Closed-loop and open-loop testing are discussed. Automated and manual data acquisition and test control for susceptibility testing are compared. Component level (TEM Cell, Strip Line, etc.) and vehicle level test techniques are discussed.

Keywords: automotive electronics; radiated susceptibility evaluation; test methodology; closed-loop testing; open-loop testing; vehicle design.
