Abstract: The environment of today|s worker is evolving from one of centralisation and control to one of mobility and performance. While this evolution has been slow to start and has even regressed at times, it now seems that there is a change needed to allow organisations to keep up with their changing environments. We take a broad look at the issues, impact and implications of mobile technology on the workforce and organisations.
