Abstract: The success of the innovation process is often dependent on the proper decisions. The paper presents the possibility of using the multicriteria analysis as a tool for support of decision making. It was shown that the universality of this method allows using it at every stage of the innovation process, from creating a budget for the innovation process to the decisions made at the level of single tasks in the process. The idea of multicriteria analysis and its advantages were presented. Using the wide range of qualitative and quantitative criteria, and including the experts to the evaluation process is very important for innovation process because of uncertainty of information in the moments of decision-making.
