Abstract: Studies of the damage done to roads, bridges and vehicles themselves by traffic load are drawing considerable attention. This time, a measurement device for weigh-in-motion of the vehicles of piezoelectric ceramics type was specially produced as an experimental model. By using this device, we developed a measurement device with piezoelectric ceramics which is capable of measuring the contact pressure distribution of a moving vehicle, and carried out a test.
