Abstract: This article describes a ground-breaking development in the online dispute resolution (ODR) field that makes ODR more adaptable and useful for professional disputants and their advisers. It first addresses the need for appropriate processes to prevent and resolve commercial disputes, particularly those in the online, national, and international contexts. Second, it provides a brief history of the development of ODR, and then describes its current limitations. Third, the article proposes a new integrated model of e-learning that can be used to educate both dispute resolution neutrals and disputants, and a new ODR tool with marked advantages over the current systems for preventing and resolving disputes. Finally, it concludes by suggesting some next steps to be taken in order to implement the new model.
