Abstract: The merging of RFID security and anti-collision is the new trend of RFID research. Leading into the Code-Division Multiple Access (CDMA) technology is the new hot spot in RFID research. By improving CDMA technology and combining with hash operation in the RFID system, we propose an anti-collision algorithm integrating security mechanism. Through the spreading code matrix size, the collision frequency, certification time and total traffic simulation tests, we show that the spreading code matrix size has an optimum value. The more the tags are in the area, the greater its value is. Research has shown that the algorithm has high security. It can resist re-transmission attack, tracking-attack, blocking-attack, tampering-attack and so on.

Keywords: CDMA; RFID security; hash function; RFID anti-collision algorithms; radio frequency identification; code division multiple access; attacks.
