Abstract: The purpose of this study is to develop a conceptual framework to examine the relationships among human resource management (HRM), knowledge management (KM) and innovation performance (IP). The background of HRM, KM and theory of IP serve as a starting-point in developing the conceptual framework. This paper fills the gap in the current literature by providing senior managers of manufacturing or service industry who want to evaluate an innovation performance competency. Senior managers can concentrate their efforts on practices that show the most promising influence for establishing competitive innovation performance capabilities by developing a deeper comprehension of the association between HRM and KM.
