Abstract: The problem of the exponential stability for a class of delayed Cellular Neural Networks (CNNs) which are subject to large impulses is considered. By using the Lyapunov functional method and applying Young and Halanay inequalities, some sufficient conditions have been derived to ensure the exponential stability of the neural networks. An example is given to show the effectiveness of the presented criteria.

Keywords: exponential stability; CNNs; cellular neural networks; large impulses; time-varying delays.
