Abstract: This paper presents simulation models of space vector PWM (SVPWM) inverter supplied from photovoltaic (PV) array using two different modelling approaches: circuit-based model and mathematical model. The models are developed in Matlab/Simulink and SimPower System toolbox. The realised simulation models are stable and account for various operating conditions including balanced and unbalanced loading that can be helpful to understand and better visualise such power electronics systems.
