Abstract: Police integrity surveys tend to focus on corruption, while convicted police officers have committed a variety of crimes that are not necessarily measured in these surveys. Based on court cases in Norway from 2005 to 2008, a revised survey instrument is developed for future empirical research into police integrity and accountability. The suggested survey instrument measures attitude towards crime category as well as crime motive.
