Title: A value-based approach to recognising CEOs with ethical leadership

Abstract: Chief executive officers (CEOs) of enterprises need to stimulate their followers| inner motivation in a manner that involves solely spreading an ideology. Two kinds of leadership behaviour with such efficiency are |ethical leadership| and |value-based leadership|, and both emphasise the importance of a leader|s moral value to their leadership efficacy. Since ethical leadership is still a confusing construct, and no comprehensive theory is available to explain how ethics/morality can result in leadership efficacy. Based on value-based leadership theory, this article tries to investigate the components of CEOs| ethic leadership.
