Abstract: There are different development modes and connotations behind the fast economic growth of China and India. National Innovation Systems (NISs) have built an effective frame of economy growth in a knowledge-oriented era. Under the NIS approach, this paper analyses China and India|s innovation systems from three parts, including the innovation environment, innovation operations and economic performance subsystems. The paper provides some comments based on the comparative results.
