Abstract: Huntington|s Disease (HD) is a progressive autosomal dominant trait, which usually begins in middle age; it is characterised by choreiform movements. The genetic defect that results in HD has been traced to an unstable expanded CAG trinucleotide repeat mutation in a novel gene on the short arm of chromosome 4. In this work, an attempt is made to promote a better understanding of the physiological chorea associated with human health hazard of HD origin by proposing a mathematical model which describes the arm gait of HD patient.
