Abstract: It is generally accepted that the quality of products and services depends on the process which creates them. Enhancing the quality of these processes through standards is gaining in importance. In this study, a methodology is proposed to be used in transforming an organisation|s structure to comply with the International Standard ISO 9000 using a process modelling tool, ProSLCSE. Introductions to process modelling, ProSLCSE and ISO 9000 are included before the high level activities are presented in the implemented model. An implemented process model for this methodology can be used as an electronic recipe for an organisation. The purpose is to address the growing need in industry for certification, and to equip consultants with automated tools. The demand in industry is driven partially by competitive pressures, due to market sensitivity towards quality and standards.
