Abstract: The composite materials are need of recent world and the use of natural fibres is also having enough potential in formation of feasible composite. The structure of jute is porous and having tendency of absorbing moisture from atmosphere which results in to deterioration at interface. In the present work the experimentation were conducted for the strength of composite by varying volume fraction of fibre in the range of 4% to 36%. The strengths of specimen and amount of void fraction were measured. The prediction of strength for such composite is developed by considering efficiency terms. The evaluation of efficiencies representing effective contribution of fibre and matrix is carried out by method of least square and further refined by computer algorithm based on minimising the error. The results are also compared with FEM packages.
