Abstract: To implement an effective quality policy in any organization requires a total commitment to participation from all employees, and is best achieved through good communications and involvement. The Quality Circle concept provides a practical way of achieving these objectives, and this paper describes the guidelines for introducing a successful programme, traces some of the pitfalls to avoid and discusses both the tangible and intangible rewards.
