Abstract: It has been widely argued that organizational changes should be considered for the successful innovation of Advanced Manufacturing Technologies (AMT). However, there are still many questions regarding the relationship between organization and technology. This paper reports a two-year empirical research program which aimed to explore the general pattern of organizational changes and technological innovations in terms of path, status, stages and paradigms with the help of an organizational-technological (0-T) map. The practical implications for organizational changes and technological innovations will be explored.

Keywords: organisational change; technological innovation; advanced manufacturing technology; AMT.
