Title: A member interface approach to a mobile virtual community of practice

Abstract: We introduce a new user interface approach for mobile community members, which is geared towards turning ubiquitous wireless handheld devices to community enablers. Our approach consists of an eXtensible Markup Language (XML)-based language to specify the functionality of the user interface and client-side interpreters that execute the interface. We present two prototype implementations.
