Title: Group interaction in a web 2.0 based learning environment: a sociogram analysis

Abstract: Group interaction reflects members| communication behaviours. Web 2.0 applications offer an ideal social environment for increasing learners| cooperative relationship. It is useful to know how group interaction happens in a web 2.0 based learning environment. In this article, group interaction taking place in a web 2.0 based integrated learning environment is analysed through a sociogram approach. The findings show that students| understanding of group learning influences their participation in the discussion forums, and training is crucial for engaging students in online discussions.
