Abstract: External pressures and internal drivers related to the change of employees| environmental awareness have led executives to consider the environmental variables as a significant competitive priority. The increased importance of the environment for the operation of modern organisations makes it sensible to incorporate environmental management into an area of strategic interest. The article presents selected issues regarding corporate environmentalism, i.e. recognition and integration of environmental issues in the strategic decision-making process, or, in other words, the possibility to include environmental issues in the formulation of corporate behavioural strategy, and the formulation of the environmental strategy of an organisation.
