Title: Culture effect on innovation level in European countries

Abstract: Nowadays, competition over market shares forces companies to produce better products and services. Companies are willing to introduce better technologies and new innovations to gain consumers| interest. In some countries, the innovation level is higher than the others. Could innovation level depend on the culture of a country? This article concerns cultures effect to innovation level in European countries. It starts by introducing the European innovation scoreboard that has been constructed by the community research and development information service. This is followed by introduction of Hofstede|s theory about cultures. Next, European countries| cultures and innovations will be analysed and finally the issues are further discussed by presenting a study of cultures effect to innovation levels.
