Research is based on two case studies of Asian companies (electric and electronic products logistics operator and automotive manufacturer), both of which have a long experience from operating in this market. Results show that the chief four factors determining logistics management of Asian companies in this environment are: transportation volumes, transportation route, infrastructure used and the warehousing/manufacturing strategy.
