Abstract: This paper proposes a framework for analysing the Content Aggregator (CA)|s business model, a core part of business planning, in the mobile internet market of Korea and to introduce its applicability in various studies to be performed in the future. To accomplish this, this study reviewed literatures related to business models and mobile internet business, and selected three research dimensions for analysing the business model of mobile CA: form of partnership between CA and Content Provider (CP), content location and service for billing of content. These research dimensions are combined into a framework for conceptualising a CA business model. A case study using the framework shows that Master CP, Facilitator, Hub CP and Syndicator are dominant CA business models in the mobile internet market of Korea and each type of CA has its own different role, function and revenue stream.
