Abstract: The Kansei image-driven design method of product styling is presented to satisfy the consumers| psychological Kansei image-demands better. At first, the typical product samples are sorted out; then, Kansei image preference for the category of product is extracted. Second, the corresponding relationship between consumers| psychological Kansei image and the design elements of product styling is acquired. Third, the image evaluating pattern based on neural network is constructed; and then, the design pattern of the product styling based on genetic algorithm is constructed. It can automatically reason out the concept styling, which will satisfy consumers| image demands. Finally, the colour design of MP3 is examined, and the verification of the method is certified.
