Title: Decentralised control of MIMO plant using optimal gramian-based pairing

Abstract: Using the assignment technique of operations research, it is possible to obtain optimal controllable and observable pairs based on gramian measure for decentralised control of MIMO plants. The advantages of using assignment method for both open and closed loop performance in a MIMO plant are discussed in this paper.
