Title: Competitiveness of Polish economy at the beginning of the 21st century: implications for economic policy

Abstract: In this paper, the author analyses competitiveness of Polish economy since year 1990. After discussing the meaning of competitiveness, he uses Porter|s Diamond to critically analyse various dimensions of economic competitiveness of Poland. Finally, he suggests some changes in economic policy, in order to improve international competitiveness of Polish economy.
