Title: Nuclear physics education in Turkey

Abstract: In this study, the history of nuclear physics education in 78 universities in Turkey regarding their curriculum, credits, examinations, the equipments in nuclear physics laboratories, the number of lecturers, the textbooks, and the institutions that contribute nuclear physics education has been investigated. The first studies on nuclear physics in Turkey began at Istanbul University in 1933, carried out by Prof. Feza Gursey. The programmes of education and training include theoretical instructions and practical exercises. Results are taken briefly.
